AMY & RANDY PACE became Golden Guardians because of their conviction that "children are one of the greatest resources of any community. We believe Boys & Girls Club is an excellent program that can help any child become a well integrated part of our society."
Both Amy and Randy graduated from the University of Georgia and believe knowledge is the key to a successful future. "The Clubs fill a great need for a positive after school experience; the emphasis on academic performance is most impressive."
The Paces live here part-time and enjoy being near the beach, plying golf, and attending Amelia Plantation Chapel. "We support Boys & Girls Clubs out of a sense of duty as citizens and Christians to reach out to our neighbors in love."

LORIE & WAYNE CHISM understand the value of education in achieving success. Lorie attained her BBA in Accounting, CPA, and Law Degree. She practices law and provides financial consultation while Wayne develops real estate. They became Golden Guardians because they know their support goes directly to encourage and support local youth to achieve as well.
"The Clubs teach respect," says Lorie. "Boys and Girls Clubs instill a value system and arm children with life skills. I also like the after-school 'Power Hour' where children are in a focused environment and can obtain academic help."
Lorie and Wayne hope that a new facility will soon become a reality for the much smaller Fernandina Beach Club. "The need is so great." We all hope it will happen soon too.
